WTI Physical Market Dashboard by LukasCZE
How to read the Physical Market Bias
The WTI Physical Market Bias is a simplified indicator designed by me to summarize the underlying U.S. physical oil market into one directional signal. It combines five key factors: commercial crude inventories, Cushing inventories, crude production, refinery crude inputs and total product supplied. Each factor contributes +1 when its four-week trend is supportive of higher oil prices and -1 when it is bearish. The resulting score ranges from -5 to +5: +3 to +5 = Bullish, -2 to +2 = Neutral, and -3 to -5 = Bearish. The bias is not a price prediction or a trading signal by itself - it is intended to provide a quick view of whether the current physical-market fundamentals are generally tightening or loosening.
